Directions to Berea
The College is located near the center of the city, where Kentucky's Bluegrass Region meets the foothills of the Cumberland Mountains. Easily accessible, Berea is located about 40 miles south of Lexington, Ky., just off Interstate 75. The driving time from Louisville, Ky., Knoxville, Tenn., or Cincinnati, Ohio is slightly more than two hours. From the South Via Interstate 75 Take the first Berea exit number 76. Turn right off the exit ramp. Continue straight on this road for approximately 2 miles, through several traffic lights until you pass the Berea City Hall and fire department on your left and the El Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant on your right. You are now at the edge of the Berea College campus. Continue past the large stone and brick Berea College sign (on your right) and turn right into the next drive. On your right, you will see the Sturt Cottage. On your left, you will see the Haaga House, home to the Office of Admissions. From the North Via Interstate 75 Take the second Berea exit number 76. Turn left off the exit ramp. Continue straight on this road for approximately 2 miles, through several traffic lights until you pass the Berea City Hall and fire department on your left and the El Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant on your right. You are now at the edge of the Berea College campus. Continue past the large stone and brick Berea College sign (on your right) and turn right into the next drive.
