Hello! I am from a small region affectionately called “Quail” in Rockcastle County, KY and have also lived in Madison County. I graduated from Madison Central High School prior to being accepted at Berea College, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication.

Some of the opportunities that Berea College offered allowed me to travel to places I had never been, to participate in activities such as intramural sports and the Speech and Debate Team, and to build a strong network of mentors and friends. I felt academically challenged at Berea but also felt very cared for and still love the sense of community that I feel at the college.
