I am from Southeastern Kentucky and graduated from Berea College in 2002 with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing.  I decided to return to Berea and work in the Admissions Office because I want students, especially from Eastern Kentucky, to be able to experience all the opportunities that were made available to be because of Berea College.
While I was a student at Berea, I was a part of the men’s basketball team, and athletics are still a major part of my life. I encourage students to be involved and take advantage of many of the clubs and organizations around campus.  Berea is an academically challenging institution, but there are so many faculty, staff members and students who are willing to help you succeed.   My experiences with the work-learning program taught me skills that were applicable to everyday life in the business world.  Because of the work study program that is required for all students, I graduated with very little debt.  Full tuition scholarships should not be the main reason for picking your college, but it certainly helps.  With my help, we can work together to decide if Berea is the right college for you.
