![]() Aid for Other Costs Financial aid and scholarships are available for meeting the additional costs of room, board, and fees, depending upon financial need. About 1/3 of our students pay $0 their first year of enrollment for these costs. At Berea, meeting the costs of a college education is a partnership between students, their families, and the College. We require that families pay what they can afford to pay for room, board, and fees (as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA) and we pledge to cover the rest through financial aid and scholarships—not loans. This is why Berea graduates have student loan debt that is only 1/3 of the national average. The money you earn from your on-campus job can be used to offset the costs of room, board and other college-related expenses. Would you like to learn more about Berea College? More Information |
