Financial Resource Questionnaire (FRQ) and Cost Estimator Overview Ready to take a detailed look at your likelihood to meet Berea College's financial eligibilty requirements? Interested in what your actual first year costs will be? Working on your application for admission? This online form can help you do all three. To receive the most accurate results, be sure to provide the most precise information possible and read the help messages in the right column of the calculator. For Applicants If you are a domestic student applying as a new freshman, you may submit an FRQ as a component of your application starting at the beginning of your senior year of high school until February 28 of the year in which you are planning to enroll. After that time, you will be required to submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If you submit an FRQ prior to your senior year of high school, you will be required to resubmit the FRQ (or provide FAFSA information) as part of your application. If you are a domestic student who is applying as a transfer student, you are required to submit a FAFSA after January 1 of the year in which you are planning to enroll. If you are an international student, you will be required to complete separate documentation to confirm your financial eligibility. Please refer to Information on Submitting the International Application for Admission and Scholarship" . All domestic applicants are required to submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to verify financial eligibility. Also, if your family has encountered special circumstances (divorce, death of wage earner, etc.) your financial eligibility should be considered on an individual basis.
