Admission Deadlines

Berea College uses a rolling admissions practice in which admissions decisions are made throughout the academic year. We observe monthly deadlines to ensure applicants complete their applications and receive an admissions decision in a timely manner.

Review of applications begins in September and continues until April, or until all spaces are full. Review of transfer applications begins in February.

Generally speaking, the earlier you apply and complete all components the better your chances of admission. Be sure to submit all components by November 30, 2009 in order to meet the next admissions deadline. 

Declare Your Intent to Enroll
If admitted, you have until May 1 to declare your intent to enroll. However, as admission to Berea is very competitive and we have a limited number of spaces available, space can only be guaranteed to the first 400 students who submit their Declaration of Intent forms and $50 non-refundable deposits.
