BEREA COLLEGE announces 2 full time faculty positions in the Department of Nursing with appointment beginning mid-August 2009.  The Department of Nursing offers a generic baccalaureate, CCNE accredited, Program of Nursing.

Required qualifications:

Teaching and clinical experience in Adult Health Nursing or Community Health Nursing.  Kentucky Nursing Licensure or the ability to obtain licensure by date of appointment is necessary.  Commitment of Baccalaureate Nursing Education is vital.
Degree requirements for eligibility for hiring, tenure and promotion for Nursing faculty are either:
  • the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with advanced practice nursing licensure or professional certification which signifies excellence in the practice of professional nursing; or
  • a doctoral degree from an accredited graduate program in nursing or related field.

Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with education, experience, and scholarship record.  Commitment to the purposes of the College and to superior teaching at the undergraduate level is essential.
