In an effort to assist College employees in balancing life’s many issues, free confidential counseling services are provided to all employees. Partnering with the St. Joseph’s Behavioral Medicine Network, Berea College provides its staff members and their dependents with access to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counselors, providing services from locations in Berea and Lexington. The EAP is very helpful in assisting individuals in dealing with personal problems that often interfere with peace of mind and the ability to enjoy work or time away from work. The EAP provides you with a professional, objective person with whom you may share your thoughts and concerns in a private setting. The EAP can be reached by calling 1-800-455-5579; appointments are required. Counseling sessions are conducted in a conveniently located office at 109 76 Blvd. which is off North Dogwood Drive, Berea; other locations are available in Lexington upon request.
