Teaching Assistant

Intro:

Berea College is accepting applications for a Teaching Assistant position in the Child Development Laboratory. The position is benefit-eligible.

Responsibilities:

The Teaching Assistant position requires a responsible individual who, in cooperation with, or in the absence of the teacher, will provide for the care and supervision of the children and manage classroom activities. Duties include assisting the classroom teacher with the development of curriculum units, facilitation of parent meetings, and supervision of student workers.

Qualifications:

A Child Development Associate’s Credential (CDA), High School Diploma and two years of related work experience are required. An undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development is preferred.
