Systems Implementation and Integration Analyst

Intro:

Berea College is currently recruiting for a Systems Implementation and Integration Analyst in the Information Systems and Services Department.  This analyst will support a mix of administrative systems, third-party applications, our Oracle-based ERP (Ellucian Banner) and the integration of these systems to support a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities:

The Systems Implementation and Integration Analyst is an applications and database systems analyst  responsible for  systems integration and support with Banner as our core ERP.  Projects will require project/budget planning and the use of in-house and external resources to complete. In addition to software implementation and integration tasks, this individual will prepare RFP’s, timelines, and communicate with internal staff and external vendors to select the appropriate sourcing for products and services; develop interfaces between third-party applications and existing enterprise systems; provide proactive and responsive user support; assist in the management of capital expenditures; and report to management on status of assigned projects. This individual may also be trained to support some technologies such as our dashboard, document management and security systems.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate for this position will have the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field and four years experience in systems integration, and software implementation working with large enterprise systems and third-party applications or equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education. A balance of people skills, analytical ability, programming skills and administrative capacities are desired.  Experience with Ellucian Banner, SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle in a higher education environment preferred.  Experience with one or more of the following is desirable: Oracle, SQLServer, MySQL, Unix/Linux, Apache, Tomcat, Java, ASP.Net, PHP, BI-Query.
