| The Office of Public Safety has a position available for an individual to provide dependable telecommunications for a busy 24/7 dispatch service. Candidates must meet the qualifications noted below and be willing to work evening and/or night shift; weekend and holiday work are also required. | |
| Responsibilities: | |
| Qualifications: Qualifications necessary for the position include the following: superior communication skills (both written and verbal); a positive public relations attitude; the ability to work calmly and efficiently under high stress conditions, utilizing both good judgment and accuracy; the ability to multi-task and handle confidential information in a professional manner. Computer experience is required, as is a High School Diploma or G.E.D. First Aid and CPR certifications must be successfully obtained within the first three months of employment and are required for continued employment. Applicants must be able to meet the attendance requirements of the position which is subject to flexible scheduling. |
