Coordinator – ARCT Communications

Intro:
Berea College is actively recruiting a candidate to fill the position of Coordinator of ARCT Communications.

Responsibilities:
The Coordinator of ARCT Communications will report directly to the Anne Ray Trust Administrator and will have the primary responsibility of assisting the Administrator in gathering and reporting proposal information, coordinating communications between the College and the Trust, and supporting planning for future ARCT projects. The coordinator is privy to substantial and confidential information and requires a confidential business approach to this sensitive work. The Coordinator may be called upon to provide confidential staff support to the Administrative Committee or Strategic Planning Council when the ARCT Administrator/Exec. Asst. to the President is otherwise engaged in ARCT administration duties
Qualifications:
This position requires the following: Bachelor’s degree; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong ability to write succinctly and edit text carefully; ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality; ability to prioritize multiple tasks while remaining organized and detail oriented. Candidates should have a strong understanding and facility with overseeing budgets and have a basic knowledge of development fundraising principles. The Coordinator will manage multiple projects, work with various constituents, and must enjoy working collaboratively in a small office. Microsoft Word and Excel experience are required; a knowledge of Banner and event coordination experience is extremely helpful.
