Berea College is accepting applications for a key Assistant Director position in the campus’ Child Development Laboratory.
|
|
| Responsibilities: The Assistant Director will oversee the daily operations of the CDL and maintain the physical facility under the direction of the Director and in accordance with all regulations and policies set forth by the Division of Regulated Child Care, state and national quality enhancement programs, as well as CDL and Berea College employee guidelines. The Assistant Director is responsible for a daily scheduled shift and will work closely with and mentor labor students. In addition, this position will assist the Director and staff with program and curriculum development, coordinate volunteers/observers and maintain required paperwork.

| Qualifications: This position requires a Master’s degree in early childhood education, child development, or a related area and a minimum of three years experience in an early childhood educational classroom setting.
