Administrative Assistant – TRIO

Intro:
Berea College is currently recruiting for a full-time Administrative Assistant to provide support services to the daily office operations for TRIO, ETS and UBMS-Woodson Programs at Berea College.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant include the following: administer day-to-day office operations and procedures; ensure efficient and welcoming office atmosphere; maintain accurate record keeping systems, including general files related to each program within TRIO, participant files; both hard copy and via computer database; process invoices, purchase orders, and reimbursements; purchase office and other program supplies; maintain materials and equipment inventory; responsible for USDA Summer Food Program; administer mailings to schools, parents, program participants; supervise student office staff; answer phone and route calls accordingly or answer questions as necessary; administer activities in concert with Associate Directors/Counselors for items such as but not limited to insurance policy, insurance claims, permission forms, reminder cards, vendor bid for services, certificate of insurance and W9 form; responsible for accuracy and maintenance with student database; Blumen for two programs within TRIO; prepare management reports for Director and/or Associate Directors that support program activities in relation to participants in TRIO program; other duties as assigned.
