Intro:

Berea College is currently recruiting for an individual to serve as an Auto Mechanic.

Responsibilities:

The Mechanic will be responsible for regularly scheduled service and preventive maintenance for all College vehicles and carts.

Qualifications:

Candidates should have the following: High School Diploma or GED required with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in auto repair; Associates Degree is desired; ASE or similar certification is strongly preferred. All applicants must possess the ability to perform manual labor and the ability to lift over 75 lbs. Applicants must be able to operate computers, engine analyzers, hand and power tools, tire changers and a large variety of vehicles and/or mobile equipment while working with hazardous equipment in dusty, greasy conditions as well as all weather conditions.
