About the Department

Part of the mission of the People Services Department at Berea College is to enrich and enhance the work lives of the nearly 600 dedicated staff and faculty members who make Learning, Labor and Service come to life on the campus of Berea College. With this in mind, we have created this web page so that we may keep all who visit it informed with relevant, timely and useful information.

If you are seeking employment with the College, we hope you will find the informational links on this page educational so that you may learn more about the work culture that makes employment at Berea College “more than just a job”. “Jobs” will provide you with a list of current staff vacancies and a recent ad for each, as well as a listing of any faculty positions available. If one of our positions appears to be a “good fit” with your career interest as well as your educational background and experience, we hope you will make a formal application for that position.
