Carol Davey
Greetings and Salutations! I’m Carol Davey, a sophomore from Columbus, Ohio. This is my first year at BCNow, but hopefully not the last one. I am an intended independent Political Communication major with a minor in Peace and Social Justice. Hopefully when I graduate from Berea I will be attending Georgetown Law School in Washington D.C.
Beyond school my interests are all over the place. I love watching movies and own more than 250 DVDs. I enjoy reading and being involved in different organizations around campus. I generally enjoy coffee, spending time with all of my friends, and taking late night adventures through Berea. I think the most important things to me in my life are my friends, family, and creativity. I am also absolutely addicted to my cell phone, which houses my entire life. If you see me around campus I am usually talking on my phone, or hanging out with some amazing people that I get to call my friends.
I chose Berea for its small and quiet campus atmosphere, and its term abroad program. Hopefully this January you won’t see me around because I am planning to visit Paris, France for short term.
My ultimate goals are to graduate law school, work as a public defender for the ACLU, and eventually become a judge. Outside of the law my other passion is politics. I would love to one day work as a political consultant, probably while working as a public defender.
