Austine Rathbone

Hello there, I’m Austin Rathbone! Although I’m a rookie at BCNow this year, I’m a returning sophomore here at Berea. After many changing my mind a few times, I’ve landed on English with an emphasis in writing as my major. I’ve always enjoyed writing, whether it be my own opinion (movie/music reviews) or reporting alike.

I found myself in Berea after taking a year off from school altogether. I found the school through a friend who goes here and apart from that obvious reason, I also enjoyed having a laptop and wonderful classes of course!

Apart from writing, I love to film things, particularly my own movies and music videos. I always love to state my opinion and be creative on my own terms. My ideal future job would be something bridging these areas, such as a film critic or movie screenwriter. Here’s hoping!

Oh, and my favorite color is definitely orange by the way. Orange.
