Ten compete in 37th Berea College Black Student Union Scholarship Pageant scheduled for Nov. 9

Ten Berea College students will complete for the title of Berea College Black Student Union Queen and King at the BSU Scholarship Pageant Friday evening, Nov. 9 at Berea.  Contestants back row, left to right, are:  Ricardo Fox, Triston Jones, Christopher Perkins, Charlie Dickerson and Roman Gladney.  Front row:  Kelia Reeves, Alysia Sherman, Jaimele Bettis, Raynetta Wiggins and Johannil Napoleon.

Tickets for the 37th Berea College Black Student Union Scholarship Pageant are now on sale at Berea College.  The event is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Phelps Stokes Auditorium on Berea’s campus.Ten Berea College students will compete for the title of Black Student Union Queen and King in this showcase of student talent, leadership and the diversity of Black culture.

Tickets are $5 each.  Purchased in advance, tickets are 2 for $7 and 3 for $9.  Tickets available at Berea College Black Cultural Center and Campus Life Office, both in the Berea College Alumni Building or contact pageant director Valton Jackson at valton_jackson@berea.edu.  All tickets will be $5 at the door the evening of the event.
