Berea College Music Department Annual Christmas Concert Sunday, Dec. 2

The annual Christmas Concert co-sponsored by Berea College’s Music Department and Campus Christian Center will be held on Sunday evening, December 2, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. in Union Church.   All are invited to attend this popular event and to join in the singing of traditional carols accompanied by College Organist John Courter.

Music of the season will be performed by the College’s Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Bluegrass Music Ensemble, Black Music Ensemble, Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, College Community Chorus, and Women’s Chorus. As people arrive, traditional carol arrangements will be played by a brass ensemble and organist, beginning thirty minutes before the concert.

Plan to attend this joyful 90-minute candlelit Christmas celebration and the holiday reception with refreshments immediately afterwards.  There is no charge for admission, but those wishing to attend are strongly advised to come early in order to find a seat.
