and Computer Science Senior Seminar |

During their senior year students majoring in Mathematics, Mathematics
Education, or Computer and Information Science may take the Senior Seminar course.
Each student in the Seminar completes a project which begins with
a lead paper that they or a faculty mentor selects for the project.
The project involves reading, researching and writing a major paper,
and concludes with a public presentation. For more details on content
and expectations see a copy of the Senior

The Kruskal-Wallis Test
- It's Not Normal When performing data analysis,
it is often helpful make and test a hypothesis about certain
data characteristics. Specifically, the Kruskal-Wallis (KW)
test can be used to test a hypothesis about the relation of
data groups under the right circumstances. However, the KW
test is not normal. |

Number Analysis
Statistical Analysis is used to estimate aspects of populations
of numbers. Given a small sample from the first p counting
numbers, we guess the number p. Estimation, variance, and
probability will introduce the main problem.
