Capstone Experience

Each major program at Berea College concludes with a capstone experience. For Mathematics and Mathematics Education Majors, this capstone typically consists of a research experience or a senior seminar course. For Majors in Computer and Information Science, this typically consists of a research experience, internship experience, or senior seminar course. For Applied Science and Mathematics majors, the capstone will typically be an upper-level engineering course taken at an accredited engineering institution and approved by Berea's Dual Degree Engineering Adviser.
