I realized that I could do research for living, that is I enjoyed
doing research. While doing research, not only did I learn a lot about
computer modeling, but I also learned numerous things in such fields
as biology, chemistry, and even mechanics. Thus, while researching
I broadened my understanding in diverse fields. The summer research
also taught me how to work closely in a small group and share ideas
with other people in an appropriate manner. I also interacted with
faculty on a more personal and friendly basis than before (always
a desired thing). |
