Department Overview
Students who obtain job
positions at BCES may be involved with student tutoring, assisting with classroom
instruction, clerical duties, research, or various duties in the library
and computer lab. Depending
upon assignment and ability, all these activities are available to Berea
College students who have an interest in working in a public school setting.
Skills acquired from these
positions include techniques for working with children and adults, increased
interpersonal communication abilities, and practice in gathering materials,
information, and supplies into a unifying structure for instruction or communication
to others. If you are interested
