Bayla plans to pursue her Master’s degree in Special Education.  After graduation she will participate in the Americorps program, working in a residential school for children with disabilities.

February–May 2005 Broomcraft (freshman assignment)
May–August 2005 Summer labor assignment with Seattle Parks and Recreation, staffing a camp for disabled children
August 2005–January 2006 Janitor in the Education Building
September 2005–January 2006 Secondary job as a Teaching Assistant in the Child Development Lab
February 2006–January 2007 Teaching Assistant in the Child Development Lab
September 2006–January 2007 Secondary job as a Teaching Assistant in Danish Gymnastics at the Russel Acton Folk Center
February–May 2007 No labor assignment- study abroad
June 2007–August 2007 Summer internship through the Shepherd Poverty Alliance at N Street Village in Washington, D.C., supervising craft activities for homeless women suffering from physical and mental disabilities
August 2007–May 2008 Teaching Assistant in the Physical Education Department / Danish-American Exchange Program
December 2007 Secondary job with the Country Dancers
May–June 2008 CELTS:  Berea Reads tutoring program for children
