Microsoft Word's reviewing capabilities have great
possibilities for use in class assignments and professional writing.
Reviewing features include: reviewers can suggest changes without
making permanent changes to the original document; authors can
incorporate or ignore suggestions; written assignments can be submitted
and reviewed or graded electronically, minimizing paper use and
maximizing the number of versions that can be easily stored and
compared.
This workshop will provide an introduction to these reviewing features, with
participants acting as authors and as reviewers. We will discuss various uses
of Word reviewing in classes, and sample exercises will be available for modification
during (or after) the workshop to fit particular courses or applications.
