About the Office
An internship is a supervised educational experience in the workplace that allows students to apply classroom learning to real-world situations. Internships offer the opportunity to explore and clarify career choices, obtain career-related experience, develop professional skills, and make valuable contacts that can help students further their careers. Most students who have done internships agree that it was truly a transformative experience! (See their stories)
Berea students are strongly encouraged to participate in an internship as a valuable part of their College experience and in preparation for their eventual job search or graduate school application. The Internship Office will work with all parties to facilitate this process and act as a liaison between student, internship site, and faculty sponsor.
Students, call Esther Livingston (859) 985-3065 to make an appointment to begin planning your summer internship!
Internship Sites may also contact Esther Livingston to learn more about posting their internship opportunities for Berea students.
