About the Department

The Berea College Internship Office was established in 1980 to encourage students to think more seriously about their career choices and goals and to learn to deal with everyday problems in the work world. The Internship Office acts as a liaison between student, agency supervisor, and faculty sponsor.

Completing an Internship can be a valuable part of your college experience. Ideally, an internship should be related to your major and proposed career. Academic internships are classes in action, connecting academic experiences with the real world. Interns gain first hand work experience and often make lasting contacts that can help further their careers.

The Internship Office provides all the necessary paper work that the student will need during the internship. Please visit the links to see the available internships that we have information on.
We look forward to seeing you taking advantage of this opportunity.
