Helping others

• At Berea, I learned how to be flexible, how to budget, how to manage my time and to think ahead. Berea is all about planning. I’ve learned a lot in planning for my career and just seeing where I want things to go in life.
  
• I’ve always wanted to be a nurse. Growing up and going to the doctor’s office, I always like how they talked to you and helped you.
  
• I really like helping people. Being African American, I know that in the African American population we have a lot of health disparities, especially with women’s health. I just want to use all the information I’ve learned at Berea to help others.
