| Restoration
to begin within a few months on Middle Town School |

| Berea College will begin to restore the Middle Town School (also known as the
Berea Consolidated School), a former Rosenwald School within the next few months.
The Middle Town school, located on KY 597 was built in 1924/1928 as an educational
facility for African American youth in Berea. The GEAR UP offices will be housed
in this historic building after restoration is complete. Check back on this site
often to learn about the progress of the restoration. |
