
Foley Middle School 8th Grader explores Chinese Dance
The Berea College GEAR UP program at Foley Middle School in Madison County hosted the Chinese Music and Dance program offered through the Eastern Kentucky University Arts and Humanities Collaborative. The program shared the rich history of Chinese performing arts and demonstrated the elements of music in eastern and western culture. Students were able to see and hear the various Chinese instruments and how they are used to develop a distinctive ethnic tone.GEAR UP Gazette
