Excerpts of Criticism	The titles listed below are continuing series of lengthy, chronologically-arranged excerpts from criticalbooks and articles. The latest volume in each set contains a comprehensive author index for all of these sets. Excerpts on the works of a particular author may appear in several volumes of a set. In order to pinpoint criticism on a particular play, use the separate, paperbound title indexes for each of the first three sets lists. For the fourth and fifth sets a cumulative title index in included in the latest volume of the set. Note that there are extensive annotated bibliographies at the end of the collections of excepts on particular writers.

Computer MLA International Bibliography (1981- ) Index.	The most comprehensive index to articles on literature. Lists dissertations and some chapters in books as well as journal articles. The years 1963, 1965, and 1971-80 are covered by print volumes on the index tables.
Computer Historical Abstracts (1982- ) Index.	Print volumes on the index tables extend coverage back to 1955.
