Required Hours for School-Based Staff Policy

Scope: All School Based Staff

 Effective Date: January 24, 2012

Purpose: To establish guidelines for staff that work in the schools.

All Berea College Employees based in a school should report to their designated school at least 30 minutes prior to the start of school.  All Berea College Employees based in schools are expected to work a minimum of 8 hours each day.  In the event that school is out of session or closed for that particular day, staff should make arrangements to get access to their office in their school or report to one of the designated locations assigned by their supervisor.  No Berea College Employee based in a school should work from their home, unless their school is closed for inclement weather.
