Biography

Poetry and photography provide me with tools for recreating my relationships with the world. My reflections on the process and outcomes of that re-creation guides my thinking about how and what I should teach, and about the dispositions my students need to develop in themselves and learn to support in their own students in order to help create a better world. The work of the whole person that is involved for me in “catching a moment of truth” in art has become fundamental to my thinking about teaching and learning.
