Cornell Weekend

On Friday, March 14, nearly 100 students gathered in the Commons for a presentation by a group of alumni and current students in the MBA Program of Cornell University’s Johnson School of Business.  This annual program, with the support of Cornell alum Joe Bridy, is now in its fifth year.  Mr. Bridy initiated this program while an MBA student, and he has continued to participate each year since.  His enthusiasm for Berea College and for this program, as well as that of his colleagues, has made it the successful program that it is today.

Our students heard valuable tips on resume writing, interviewing, networking, and job search skills.  The group presentation on Friday evening was very informative, and the one-on-one sessions throughout the day on Saturday were very helpful as well.

This year’s participants include five graduates of the MBA program at the Johnson School:  Jocelyn Arcari, Joe Bridy, Bianca Medrano, Christian Rhodes, and Garth Timoli.  Four current MBA students participated as well:  Christopher Caudill, Lindsay Lehman, David Roy, and Karen Martin.
