On Friday, February 13, 2009, over 100 students gathered in the Commons for a presentation by a group of alumni and current students in the MBA Program of Cornell University’s Johnson School of Business. This annual program, with the support of Cornell alum Joe Bridy, is now in its sixth year. Mr. Bridy initiated this program while an MBA student, and he has continued to participate each year since. His enthusiasm for Berea College and for this program, as well as that of his colleagues, has made it the successful program that it is today.
Our students heard valuable tips on resume writing, interviewing, networking, and job search skills. The group presentation on Friday evening was very informative, and the one-on-one resume and interview sessions throughout the day on Saturday were very helpful as well.
This year’s participants include two graduates of the MBA program at the Johnson School: Joe Bridy and Christian Rhodes. Four current MBA students participated as well: Lindsay Lehman, David Roy, Karen Martin, and Josh Cunningham.
