An Egg-cellent Breakfast
 

The Mountaineer Dining Hall proudly offers local omelets on Monday, Wednesday and Friday breakfast, and fried eggs to order on Tuesdays.  The eggs are from Bryce Baumann’s Forever Farm which is less than 10 miles away from the college.  Berea Dining is excited to help reduce our carbon footprint and support local farmers by buying from local vendors.  With the upcoming Earth Day look for other tips on how to reduce your carbon footprint.

Here are a few ideas we came up with:

  • Please purchase from local vendors when the Farmers Market returns to the outdoor location on April 7! The market will be Tuesdays and Fridays at the green space behind the Visitor’s Center.
  • Buy reusable dishware for your dorm room (anything but Berea Dining dishes!)
  • Shop thrift stores
  • Reduce your spending: reuse what you already own, and recycle when you are finished.

Carry and use a refillable drink container.
