Program Information
Minor Requirements
The Minor in Dance is open to students in any field. A minor in Dance provides an opportunity to engage in a range of dance experiences (1) which contribute to the liberal education of students regardless of major, (2) which will be applicable to graduate study or professional work in a variety of fields such as performance, therapy, education, journalism, or cultural studies, and (3) which provide a basis for lifelong learning and personal development. The Dance minor is designed to be flexible and to accommodate each student’s interests and goals.
Requirements:
- Total of 5 credits chosen in
consultation with Dance Advisors, including:
- PED 245
- One Dance Technique Class
