First-Year Advising

In the fall, you will meet the faculty member who has been assigned as your Academic Adviser. You will meet regularly with your adviser and develop a plan to help you make the most out of your time at Berea College. This plan will cover the academic, labor, service, and co- and extra-curricular aspects of you college career.

Your adviser may or may not be in the department in which you are interested in exploring as a major. However, Berea College is committed to providing a high quality advising program, so regardless of who your adviser is or what your academic interests are, you will find academic advising to be of critical importance.
