 One on One Tutoring exists to provide a safe and encouraging atmosphere for students
from Kindergarten to twelfth grade who need extra help in achieving academic
success. By providing them with this one on one relationship, the intent is to
surpass an academic relationship and build a mentoring friendship.
Program Outline
- Trained volunteers are placed into a pool.
- Volunteers are matched with a tutee based on subjects they desire
to tutor.
- Goals are set based on student needs.
- Staff member maintains contact with matchup to provide assistance
when needed.
- Evaluations at the end of each semester.
