CELTS Staff and Students Present at Bonner Foundation’s Summer Leadership Institute

Bonner Foundation's Summer Leadership Institute

The newly redesigned webpage for the Kentucky Campus Compact features courses taught by several Berea faculty, focusing on Berea College’s and CELTS’ commitment to furthering community involvement among students, as well as academics at Berea College. The webpage features courses taught by Adanma Barton, Janice Blythe, Meta Mendel-Reyes, and Mario Nakazawa. Community partner organizations that are featured in these stories include the Berea Community Food Bank, Berea Health Ministry, Clearfork Community Institute, Eastern Kentucky Child Care Coalition, and Hope’s Wings Domestic Violence Shelter.

This website is part of an on-going project to collect stories of best practices in service-learning in Kentucky.  To read more about the work that CELTS and the Berea faculty are currently supporting in the community through successful service-learning courses, simply click here.
