Each
year Habitat for Humanity International offers alternative spring
break trips around the United States for Habitat chapters to get
involved in new locations.
During the week devotions, safety lessons, fellowship with the family, meals
and showers are offered for spring breakers. Each spring break trip is planned
around a place of interest for the Habitat Chapter members. Approximately fifteen
to twenty students participate each year with an approximate cost of less than
$100 for each student. Recent places of interest have been New York City, Charleston,
South Carolina, New Orleans, and New Bern, North Carolina. If you are interested
in participating in an alternative spring break trip with Habitat contact the
Berea College Habitat office.
