Learning Disability accommodations

Reasonable academic adjustments and accommodations often include but are not limited to: Limitations:
Colleges are NOT required to provide:
Extended time for testing and assignments Personal attendants
Alternative testing sites Readers for personal use or study
Permission to tape lectures Tutorial services other than those provided for the entire student population
Copies of overheads or outlines/notes used in lectures Choice of aids (college may suggest methods of auxiliary aids so long as methods provide equal opportunity)
Volunteer readers Coursework adjustments, IF such a provision would fundamentally alter the nature of the program or academic requirements which are essential to a program of study or to meet licensing prerequisites.
Scribes for testing  
Print materials in alternate format Students are responsible for the costs of their own textbooks.
