Minor in Sociology
Requirements for the Minor
The minor in Sociology requires a minimum of six (6) courses, as follows:
Required Core Courses
SOC 100 and 335
Required Distribution Courses
Four (4) additional SOC courses, no more than one of which may be a course offered only in the Short Term
Additional considerations for the Sociology Minor
In addition to completing specified course requirements, each student must satisfy departmental standards for effectiveness in communication.
