Minor in Religion

Requirements for the Minor

A minor in Religion is designed to complement a student’s interests and his or her study pursued in other disciplines. The minor requires a minimum of five (5) course credits, as follows:

Required Core Course

REL 200

Required REL Distribution Courses

One (1) course from each of the following three groups:

Biblical Studies

REL 101, 205, 207, 225, 227, 310, or 311

World Religions

REL 117, 231, 232, 240, 250, 260, 308, or 309

Religious Thought and Ethics

REL 109, 126, 210, 211, 215, 218, 221, 223, 235, or 312

Required Collateral Course

One (1) PHI course credit (chosen from PHI 100, 104, 214, or 215).
