Minor in Speech Communication

Requirements for the Minor

The minor in Speech Communication requires a minimum of six (6) course credits, as follows:

Required Core Courses

COM 100, 300, and 410

Required Distribution Courses

Three (3) additional course credits, chosen from the following: COM 101, 102, 200, 201, 202, 203, 301, 302, and 186/286/386/486.

Additional considerations for the Speech Communication Minor

Students in this minor also must satisfy departmental standards for effective oral and written communication.
