Minor in Latin
The Latin minor program is designed for students to acquire knowledge of Greek and Roman texts and to introduce them to those cultures and major works of classical literature. Graduates have found their classical-language education particularly useful in a number of professional and business careers.
The minor in Latin requires a minimum of five (5) courses, as follows:
Required Core Course—LAT 103
Required Distribution Courses—Four (4) additional LAT courses above the 103 level, as specified by the Department of Foreign Languages
Other Considerations in the Minor—Students who minor in a Foreign Language also are eligible for study-abroad grants.
