Minor in Speech Communication
The minor in Speech Communication requires a minimum of six (6) courses, as follows:
Required Core Courses—COM 100, 300, and 410
Required Distribution Courses—Three (3) additional courses, chosen from the following: COM 101, 102, 200, 201, 202, 203, 301, 302, and 186/286/386/486
Additional considerations for the Speech Communication Minor—Students in this minor also must satisfy departmental standards for effective oral and written communication.
