A minor in Appalachian Studies requires a minimum of five (5) courses, as follows:
Required Core Courses—APS 121, APS 229, and APS 253 (also HIS)
Required Distribution Courses—Two (2) additional courses chosen from: APS 140 (also ENG), APS 210 (also HLT), APS 213 (also TEC), ASP 215 (also SENS), APS 220 (also WST), APS 224 (also MUS), APS 225 (also AFR/PSJ/SENS/WST), APS 230 (also AFR), APS 236, APS 330 (also SOC), or other courses approved for Appalachian Studies credit
