Red text in this online version denotes changes from the printed version for the corresponding academic year. Persons also may refer to the #Academics public folder on MS Outlook for updates and revisions to this Catalog.

Berea College reserves the right to amend, revise, or modify policies contained within this publication.

All statements contained in this Catalog reflect the approved policies of Berea College as of July 18, 2008. The College reserves the right to change with due notice any of the provisions, statements, policies, curricula, course offerings and frequencies, procedures, regulations, or fees. Whenever possible, updates will be posted in the 2008-2009 Berea College Online Catalog, available at www.berea.edu/catalog. The Student Handbook (provided by the Office of the Vice-President for Labor and Student Life to all current students and also published online) supplements the College Catalog and expands upon College policies and procedures. The Short Term Catalog, published online by the Office of Academic Services in late October, is a supplement to the College Catalog and provides additional academic information regarding that specific January term. Students have the responsibility of being aware of and following the policies outlined in each of these publications.
